The Dutch soprano Zinzi Frohwein studied at the Royal Conservatory with Sasja Hunego from 2009 to 2013. She continued her training at the Dutch National Opera Academy. During her studies she attended master classes with Dame Kiri te Kanawa, Christa Ludwig, Helen Donath and Doris Soffel. She sang, among others, the roles of La dame élégante (Les mamelles de Tirésias, Poulenc) and Youca (L'étoile, Chabrier) at the National Opera & Ballet and Mimi (La Bohème) and Berta (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) at the Dutch Reisopera.

Since 2015, Zinzi has been a soloist at Theater Nordhausen in Germany. Here she sang, among others: Mimi (La Bohème), Desdemona (Otello), Blanche (Dialogue des Carmélites), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Violetta (La Traviata), Cendrillon (Cendrillon), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Hanna Glawari (Die Lustige Witwe) and Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro). Zinzi is currently studying with soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek.
