About us

Since its foundation in 1997, the Delft Chamber Music Festival has grown into a world-class chamber music festival. The festival was founded by violinist Isabelle van Keulen. After that, violinist Liza Ferschtman took over the artistic leadership for 15 years. Since 2021, pianist Nino Gvetadze has been the artistic director. In the summer she invites the absolute world top of classical music to play against the beautiful historic backdrop of Delft and its surroundings. The most special and unique programs are presented in a festive, summery and intimate setting. 

The festival has a changing theme every year that connects the programs like a common thread. DCMF is internationally known for the high level of the musicians, the enthusiasm of the performances and the unique approach to the music without losing sight of tradition.

The festival is grateful to the municipality, funds, sponsors, partners, supporters and 'Dikke Vrienden' for their contributions.
