Giorgi Mardaleishvili is a passionate viola player who began his journey at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire under Professor Nodar Zhvania. In 2022, he advanced his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) with Professor Sebastian Herberg and string quartet performance with Professor Johannes Meissl

Giorgi has distinguished himself as a versatile performer, collaborating with the Georgian National Music Center and the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra. His performances have graced concerts and festivals across Europe. Giorgi has won Second Place in the Otar Taktakishvili International Music Competition (2018) and a Diploma from the 7th Georgian National Music Competition (2019). He has refined his skills in masterclasses with Nobuko Imai, Garth Knox, Timothy Ridout, Hartmut Rohde, David Aaron Carpenter, and Yuri Gandelsman.

In 2024, Giorgi was named a young artist of the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation. He remains dedicated to sharing his passion for music worldwide.
