Yukine Kurokipiano

Yukine Kuroki (Japan, 1998) started playing the piano at the age of three. She won first prize at the Hanoi International Piano Competition in Vietnam, the Grand Prix at the Balisadvaryonas International Youth Competition in Lithuania, the Gold Prize at the 15th Chopin International Piano Competition in ASIA. She graduated from the Piano Performer Course, Department of Instrumental Music, Showa University of Music, and entered its graduate school in 2021. Yukine studied under Fumiko Eguchi and Seiko Otomo. 

In 2022 she won the 1st Prize an the Dublin International Piano Competition and the 1st Prize 2022 at the Utrecht International Franz Liszt Piano Competition. Her performances take her to Japan, Russia, Lithuania and other countries. At the age of 7 Yukine performed with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
