British tenor Peter Kirk studied at the University of Wales, the Royal College of Music International Opera School (graduating with the Eric Shilling Prize for Opera), and on l’Opéra national du Rhin’s Young Artist’s Programme. Kirk made his Royal Opera (Covent Garden) debut in 2015 to critical acclaim as Chulak The Firework-Maker’sDaughter, other engagements that season included Judas Maccabeuswith the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra in Katowice, Dichterliebeat the Wiltshire Music Centre, Antonio Das Liebesverbotat l'Opera National du Rhin and Lysander A Midsummer Night’s Dreamat the Hyogo Arts Centre, Japan. 
In season 2018/2019, Peter made debuts with Nederlandse Reisopera as Mr Erlanson in A little Night Music, in  Lyon Opera as Nero in Mefistofele, in Opera de Tours and Nevill Holt Opera singing Lysander in Britten’sA Midsummer’s Nights Dream, Tamino in Die Zauberfloetefor Opera Up Close and also with conductor Yutaka Sado and the Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra and the Münchner Symphoniker under David Reiland.
