Ketevan Roinishvili (Tbilisi, Georgia) studied at the Music Gymnasium with Professor Mikheil Khoshtaria until 2005 and afterwards with Tamara Gabarashvili at the Conservatory of Tbilisi. With the help of the conductor Lev Makiz and the ‘Stichting Vrienden van het Conservatorium van Tbilisi’ she went to study in Amsterdam. She finished her Bachelor Cum Laude with Professor Dmitri Ferschtman. Ketevan studied at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien with Professor Reinhard Latzko. After that she finished her studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Floris Mijnders with the highest degree, Cum Laude.
Ketevan is a prominent soloist and chamber musician. She performed as a soloist with conductors like Adrian Prabava, Cem Mansur and Willem de Bordes. Ketevan performed at the famous Prinsengracht concert in Amsterdam. She is also a regular guest in several orchestras among which are the Amsterdam Sinfonietta and the Dutch Radio Philharmonic orchestra. And she is a member of the cello quartet ‘Ferschtman’ with Dmitri Ferschtman, Larissa Groeneveld and Willem Stam.
