Since her fifth year, the French Evolène Kiener has always played wind instruments such as recorder, clarinet and bassoon. As a bassoonist she went to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris where she was taught by Giorgio Mandolesi. She enjoys a rich and varied international career as a chamber and orchestra musician.
Evolène performs with musicians such as Raphael Pichon and his ensemble Pygmalion, with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, Skip Sempe and Jean Rondeau. Evolène gives master classes and workshops and regularly teaches in Saint Maur des Fossés, close to Paris.
